possible reasons and solutions :

reason : the half-open TCP connection limitation is reached on windows xp sp2 and windows 2003 sp1.
solution : please enlarge the limitation for better connection capacity and traffic throughput.

reason : incorrectly injected winsock LSPs (e.g. internet download manager (IDM) with advanced integration enable) block TCP communications.
solutions : clear the suspicious winsock LSPs by internet security tools or disable the related software function.

hai provato a cliccare YES? hai messo la patch per XP SP2?

si ho messo la patch e ho provato anche con yes ma niente,con sopcast invece mi resta lo schermo nero e dopo molto carica l'immagine

Per prima cosa fa una scansione con SpyBot o Adware.Se e` tutto in ordine prova in WMP>tools>options>player a selezionare "Downloads codecs automatically" e...forse va

Mi spiace,ma non mi vien in mente altro e non son in grado di far test...
Prova ad usar il Troubleshooter di Microsoft mettendoci i termini rilevanti che hai riportato sopra.

che WMP hai? prova ad installarne un'altra versione o reinstallare la stessa.

ho la versione 11,non ho provato a disinstallarla e rimetterla.ora anche sopcast mi va piu lento del solito cioe mi rimane lo schermo nero e non vedo nulla

il problema è passato grazie a superantyspyware e malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
