Misurare Portante

vorrei misurare la portante della mia linea alice, però ogni volta che mi collego col modem usb esce la scritta 12Mbps, che è in pratica la velocità dell'usb

come posso sapere la mia portante effettiva?

cioe?? vuoi sapere a che velocita di banda viaggi?? la tua banda totale?? il collegamento tra pc e modem??
